I went to my favorite couple’s house last night for some QT. Dani and Mickey always have something good pirated. We went to the new hipster bodega in Bushwick. Got a shit ton of snacks and then we watched this film. I had heard NOTHING about it, so was kinda skeptical. But after less than 2 minutes of the film, I was completely psyched on it. It’s soooo brutal and bloody and funny and well directed and reallllly well acted. It was a total surprise actually. The cast was amazing and the writer is the same guy who did ‘Superbad’ & ‘Pineapple Express’ I really can’t admonish you enough…download it, buy it, whatever. It was a knee slappin good time.
*Plus the actor who plays Xavier LaFlamme is F-I-N-E. That little French Canadian accent is scrumptious. Man on man violence, testosterone, grunting, unchecked rage. It’s all very sexy to me. See this film.

The most fun thing about the set for me was, in addition to working with these great actors who are very funny, was to watch Woody Allen work because he is my favorite director. So to get to watch him direct is so exciting. He’s so quick, he’s so funny and casual. It’s just a unique and thrilling experience.
